The most commonly made changes are:

• Change to Email Address for any Contact(s):
  It is especially important to keep the admin email address up to date since this is the address usual notifications are sent to for renewals/expiry/de-activation or other important administrative functions.
• Change of Nameservers (DNS)
  This generally needs to be done whenever you switch web hosts. You may also be asked to do this on a rare occasion if your web host changes his configurations or machinery.
• Change Password

 
Some of the other changes that can be made here include:

• Change to Street Address for any Contact(s)
  It is important to keep your addresses up to date in the case of a physical move of yourself or your business.
• Change of Registrant
  For example, if you have changed your name or wish to change the registration from your name to someone else or a department in your company/organization, or if you have sold your website or domain name to someone else.
• Move into another Profile
  If you created an additional profile to register this name, you can move into into an existing profile so that all your domain names will be accessible by logging in only once. You would then also have the facility to change the contact information for all names in the same profile simultaneously.
• Add a Sub-User
  You can allow another person to have a separate login account to the domain name with varying permissions so that they may make changes to the record. For example, if you tend to change hosts often, you can allow us to edit the nameserver information so we can take care of the technical details for you. Similarly, if your site is pretty stable, you could allow your webhost to edit the nameservers as needed without bothering you.
